Angela Andrews is the newest member of the Innovative Financial Group team. With over thirty years of experience in healthcare, Angela has honed her skills in assessing and addressing the needs of clients and brings that same level of care to her clients as a life insurance professional. Angela has a deep understanding of patient care and health insurance regulations, which she is now leveraging to provide valuable insurance solutions as she helps individuals and families protect their financial future.
A native of Detroit, MI, Angela relocated to Georgia in 1988 and worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist Assistant at major Atlanta-area hospitals such as Decatur, Dekalb Medical, GA Baptist, Northside and Quest Diagnostic Lab. In August of 1998, Angela started a career in the healthcare insurance industry and gained experience in pre-certification, appeals revenue recovery while learning the inner workings of gated, non-gated and Medicare health insurance products. Angela worked as a Medical Economics Consultant providing strategic and consultative analyses to support reporting metrics against plan objectives and business operations for SE Network Markets until November of 2021.
After seeing and understanding the benefits offered to families, Angela decided to pivot from the health insurance to the life insurance arena and in 2023 became a partner at Innovative Financial Group. Angela’s skills in health and wellness place her in the unique position to identify the right life insurance products to align with her clients’ needs and budget. Her familiarity with health insurance regulations enables her to effectively guide clients through the life insurance underwriting process as she collaborates with the IFG team to ensure accurate policy issuance and deliver exceptional customer service.
Angela currently lives in Duluth and is an active member of Change Church. She enjoys spending time with her family in MI, decorating, cooking different ethnic dishes, fashion, helping people and traveling.
